AT & T LEGENDS CLASSIC TICKETS ON SALE FRIDAY: Tickets to the AT&T Legends Classic – which will take place at Fenway Park on January 2, 2010 –  went on sale to the general public Friday at  10am and cost $10, $15, $20 or $25. Tickets can be purchased online at, by calling 617-624-BEAR (2327) and in-person at all Ticketmaster outlets or the TD Garden Box Office. Yesterday, during a special pre-sale for Bruins Season Ticket Holders, Cybear members and Red Sox Season Ticket Holders, over 12,000 tickets were sold.

Confirmed players for the Legends Classic include: current Vice President Cam Neely, actor and comedian Denis Leary, actor Tim Robbins, movie director Bobby Farrelly, musician Ken Casey, NHL greats Brian Leetch and Pat LaFontaine and a number of Boston’s most famous alumni including Bob Beers, Andy Brickley, Lyndon Byers, Gary Doak, Ken Hodge, Ken Linseman, Rick Middleton, Terry O’Reilly, Brad Park, Johnny ‘Pie’ McKenzie, Bob Sweeney and Don Sweeney. Legendary Bruins John Bucyk, Milt Schmidt, and Derek Sanderson as well as actor Lenny Clarke will also be participating in the game in an off-ice capacity. A number of other notable alumni, former NHL players, and celebrities have been invited to participate and will be confirmed in the coming weeks.

BRUINS LAUNCH WINTER CLASSIC “TEAM CHALLENGE”: PRESENTED BY SBLI: Boston Bruins Principal Charlie Jacobs announced Wednesday the club launched the "Boston Bruins Youth Hockey Team Challenge" presented by The Savings Bank Life Insurance Company of Massachusetts (SBLI, known in Connecticut as Centrian Life Insurance), an online contest on for youth hockey teams throughout New England, where 25 teams will win 20 tickets to the Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic at Fenway Park. ROAD TRIP ROLLS ON: After their 4-3 shootout win over the Thrashers in Atlanta Thursday night, the team will take on the Northeast Division leading Sabres Friday night in Buffalo at 7:30 p.m. (TV: NESN, RADIO: 98.5 The Sports Hub). The Black and Gold are in the middle of their longest road stretch of the season so far at four games (4-3 in Atlanta last night, tonight at Buffalo, Nov. 23 at St. Louis and Nov. 25 in Minnesota). They will have one other four-game trip (Feb. 7-13) and their longest trip of the season will be a seven-game stretch from Mar. 6-16.

Bruins fans are invited cheer on the B's as they take on the Buffalo Sabres for the third Bruins Viewing Party of the 2009 -10 season. There will be giveaways, raffles and a Bruins themed menu.

WHAT: Skate with the Ice Girls
The Boston Bruins “Skate with the Ice Girls” kicks off its third season this Sunday at the Armstrong Skating Arena in Plymouth MA. Bruins fans of all ages can take to the ice with Bruins Ice Girls Holly, Ashley and Lauren for $5.00 during the afternoon’s public skate. Bruins fans will also have a chance to win Bruins autographed memorabilia and great prizes

BRUINS PARTICIPATING: Bruins Ice Girls Holly, Ashley and Lauren

During each Boston Bruins home game, a member of the local community is acknowledged for their contributions as the “Community Captain” of the game. The Community Captain receives four complimentary game tickets to a Bruins home game where they will be recognized on the TD Garden HDX (video scoreboard). They will also receive a Boston Bruins Prize Pack.

Here are the Community Captains who will be recognized during this week’s home games:

November 28: Molly Baldwin
On Saturday, November 28 during the Bruins/Senators game beginning at 7:00 p.m., Molly Baldwin will be recognized in-game as the Boston Bruins Community Captain. Molly is the Founder and Executive Director of the not-for-profit organization called Roca. Molly used the money out of her own pocket to found Roca, which is based in some of Chelsea's toughest neighborhoods. She has dedicated her last 25 years to serving at-risk youth susceptible to poverty, gang violence and drug abuse.

2ND ANNUAL BRUINS HOLIDAY TOURNAMENT: The B’s are returning to the Haverhill Valley Forum to host the second annual “Boston Bruins Holiday Tournament” from Sunday, December 27 through Wednesday, December 30. The event will feature Mite and Squirt squads playing in a minimum of three games over a four-day period. As an added bonus, each team will have the opportunity to win a team set of tickets to the 2010 NHL/Bridgestone Winter Classic between the Bruins and Flyers at Fenway Park on January 1, 2010.
