SIGNED _ Lysell

BOSTON -Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney announced today, August 9, that the team has signed forward Fabian Lysell to a three-year entry-level contract with an annual NHL cap hit of $925,000.

"The Bruins are excited to have signed Fabian to his first NHL contract," said Sweeney. "Fabian is a talented young player, and we look forward to working with Fabian throughout the development process."
Lysell was selected by the Bruins in the first round (21st overall) of the 2021 NHL Entry Draft.
Lysell appeared in 26 games with Lulea HF of the Swedish Hockey League in 2020-21, recording two goals and one assist for three points. The 18-year-old played with Team Sweden's Under-18 team at the 2021 Under-18 World Junior Championship en route to a bronze medal. The 5-foot-10, 172-pound forward recorded three goals and six assists for nine points in seven tournament games.
The Göteborg, Sweden native also appeared in five games for Team Sweden at the 2020 Under-17 World Hockey Championship, recording five goals and two assists for seven points.
