Bruins Sign Colby Cave to an Entry-Level Contract

Boston, MA - Boston Bruins General Manager Peter Chiarelli announced today, April 7, that the Bruins have signed forward Colby Cave to an entry-level contract. Cave will report to the Providence Bruins.



In 72 games for the Swift Current Broncos this season, the 20-year-old forward recorded 35 goals and 40 assists for 75 points. Cave finished the season ranked first on the team in assists and second in both points and goals.



Cave played four full seasons in the Western Hockey League with Swift Current amassing 95 goals and 107 assists for 202 points in 286 career games. The 6’1’’, 198-pound native of Battleford, Saskatchewan served as team captain for the Broncos and was named the team's most valuable player for the last two seasons.
