Bruins Recall Trotman on an Emergency Basis

BOSTON, MA - Boston Bruins General Manager Peter Chiarelli announced today, November 29, that the club has recalled Zach Trotman from Providence (American Hockey League) on an emergency basis.Trotman will join the team for Saturday's practice at Ristuccia Arena in Wilmington, MA.



Trotman has skated in nine games for Boston this season, notching two assists, with one coming against the Ottawa Senators on November 1 and other against the Minnesota Wild on October 28.  In his NHL career, Trotman has appeared in 11 games for Boston.



The defenseman has skated in eight games for Providence, tallying two assists. The 24-year-old blueliner has skated in a total of 118 games with Providence from 2011-2014, picking up 11 goals and 34 assists for 45 points.



The 6’3'', 219-pound native of Noblesville, Indiana was drafted by the Bruins in the seventh round (210th overall) of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.
