Bruins Recall Seth Griffith from Providence

BOSTON, MA – Boston Bruins General Manager Peter Chiarelli announced today, Monday, October 20, that the club has recalled forward Seth Griffith from Providence.

Griffith will join Boston for their 10:30 a.m. practice at Ristuccia Arena on Monday.

Griffith has skated in three games for Boston during the 2014-15 season. In three games with the Providence Bruins this season, Griffith has two goals with a plus-three rating. Last year, Griffith skated in 69 games with Providence and scored 20 goals (tied for third) and notched 30 assists (third on the team) for a total of 50 points (second on the team). He also skated in 12 playoff games with Providence accruing four goals and seven assists.

The 5’9 192 lb. native of Wallaceburg, ON was drafted by the Bruins in the fifth round (131st overall) of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.
