BOSTON, MA – Boston Bruins General Manager Peter Chiarelli announced today that the club has recalled forward Guillaume Lefebvre from their American Hockey League affiliate, the Providence Bruins. Lefebvre will join the team today in Philadelphia and be available for the team’s game against the Flyers Thursday night.

Lefebvre made his Boston Bruins debut earlier this season in Phoenix on Saturday, October 17.
Invited to Boston’s training camp on a tryout agreement, Lefebvre signed a one-year contract with Boston on September 26. He has one assist and 42 penalty minutes in five games this year for the P-Bruins.

In his NHL career, Lefebvre has posted 2-4=6 totals and 13 penalty minutes in 39 games with the Flyers, Penguins and Bruins. He was originally drafted by the Flyers in the seventh round (227th overall) of the 2000 NHL Entry Draft.

The Bruins are in action next when they visit the Philadelphia Flyers on Thursday, October 22 at 7:00 p.m. ET (TV: NESN, Radio: 98.5 The Sports Hub).
