Bruins Recall Forward Noel Acciari From Providence Bruins

BOSTON, MA – Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney announced today, March 1, that the club has recalled forward Noel Acciari from the Providence Bruins (American Hockey League). This is the first professional recall of Acciari's career. He will join the team on Tuesday and will be available to play in the team’s game vs. Calgary at TD Garden.

Acciari has skated in 42 games with Providence in 2015-16, recording seven goals and 12 assists for 19 points with 17 penalty minutes and a plus-8 rating. The 24-year-old forward played three seasons at Providence College before signing with the Bruins, totaling 32 goals and 33 assists for 65 points in 113 career collegiate games. In 2014-15, he helped the Friars capture a National Championship and was named Hockey East’s Defensive Forward of the Year.

The 5’10”, 208-pound native of Johnston, Rhode Island was signed by the Bruins as a free agent on June 8, 2015.
