At the conclusion of his rookie season in 2015, Pastrnak was named the winner of NESN’s Seventh Player Award, presented to the Bruin who exceeded the expectations of Bruins fans during the 2014-15 season.

This season, Pastrnak has played in two games with Providence, tallying one point.

In December, Pastrnak was loaned to the Czech Republic’s World Juniors team. His sole goal stood as the Czech Republic’s game-winning goal in a win over Slovakia on December 28.

The 6’0”, 167-pound native of Havirov, Czech Republic was drafted by the Bruins in the first round (25th overall) of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.
