BOSTON, MA - Bruins players will be available to the media on the East Concourse (level 2) of the TD Garden from 8:30 a.m. ET - 8:50 a.m. ET on Saturday, June 18 before the “Bringing Home the Cup” Rolling Rally parade, which begins at 11:00 a.m. ET. Media with valid press identification can enter the TD Garden through the East Premium Entrance beginning at 8:00 a.m. and take the stairs up to level 2. Bruins Communications Staff will be on hand to assist with directions.
Because of street closures and expected heavy vehicle and pedestrian traffic, we recommend allowing for extra time to get to the Garden.
Due to Saturday night’s concert at the TD Garden, media should be advised that they must exit the TD Garden immediately following the morning availability session as there will not be any workspace available. Also, due to the concert and parade preparation, unfortunately there will not be any TV truck parking available on TD Garden grounds.
Still photographers with proper City of Boston press identification will be permitted in the TD Garden front lot for the parade kick-off which is expected to begin at 10:30 a.m. ET. This portion of the festivities is only open to credentialed still photographers.
Regarding the parade, media will not be permitted on the Duck Boats with the team. Television networks will have access to all footage provided by a pool feed. Details on the feeds will be posted on the Bruins Media Website as they become available.
There will be 18 total Duck Boats in the parade. In addition to the full team and executives, Blades, the Bruins mascot, Rene Rancourt and Ron Poster, the Bruins official organist, will travel en route as well.
Following the parade, select players will be available to the pool feed at approximately 3 p.m. ET. The Bruins Communications Staff will post transcripts from these interviews on the Bruins Media Website after they are complete.
The Bruins will hold their final availability of the 2010-11 season on Sunday, June 19 at the TD Garden beginning at approximately 1:45 p.m. ET with a press conference with Head Coach Claude Julien in the TD Garden press conference area. Bruins players will be available shortly thereafter inside the Bruins locker room. Media can enter the TD Garden beginning at 1:00 p.m. ET through the Media/Back Security Entrance.
