BOSTON - Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney announced today, July 24, that the team has made seven selections in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft.

Fabian Lysell, RW, SWE
The Bruins selected forward Fabian Lysell in the first round (21st overall) of the 2021 NHL Entry Draft.
Lysell appeared in 26 games with Lulea HF of the Swedish Hockey League in 2020-21, recording two goals and one assist for three points. The 18-year-old played with Team Sweden's Under-18 team at the 2021 Under-18 World Junior Championship en route to a bronze medal. The 5-foot-10, 172-pound forward recorded three goals and six assists for nine points in seven tournament games.
The Göteborg, Sweden native also appeared in five games for Team Sweden at the 2020 Under-17 World Hockey Championship, recording five goals and two assists for seven points.
Brett Harrison, C, CAN
The Bruins selected forward Brett Harrison in the third round (85th overall) of the 2021 NHL Entry Draft.
Harrison, 18, appeared in seven games for KooVee in Finland's SM-Sarja in 2020-21, recording four goals and five assists for nine points. The Dorchester, Ontario native played for the Oshawa Generals of the Ontario Hockey League in 2019-20, notching 21 goals and 16 assists for 37 points in 58 games.
The 6-foot-2, 185-pound forward appeared in seven games for
Team Canada at the 2020 World Junior Championship, recording two goals and a plus-4 rating en route to a gold medal.
Philip Svedeback, G, SWE
The Bruins selected goaltender Philip Svedeback in the fourth round (117th overall) of the 2021 NHL Entry Draft.
Svedeback, 19, appeared in 12 games for Vaxjo Lakers HC in the J20 Nationell in 2020-21, posting a 5-6-0 record with a 3.47 goals against average and .912 save percentage. The 6-foot-3, 192-pound goaltender will play next season in the USHL with the Dubuque Fighting Saints.
Oskar Jellvik, C, SWE
The Bruins selected forward Oskar Jellvik in the fifth round (149th overall) of the 2021 NHL Entry Draft.
Jellvik appeared in 13 games with Djurgardens IF of the J20 Nationell in 2020-21, recording six goals and six assists for 12 points. The 18-year-old played with Team Sweden's Under-17 team at the 2021 Under-17 World Junior Championship, recording one assist in four tournament games.
The 5-foot-11, 181-pound forward played 15 games for Djurgardens in the J20 SuperElit in 2019-20, recording two goals and two assists for four points in 15 games.
Ryan Mast, D, USA
The Bruins selected defenseman Ryan Mast in the sixth round (181st overall) of the 2021 NHL Entry Draft.
Mast appeared in 58 games for the Sarnia Sting of the Ontario Hockey League in 2019-20, recording one goal and 10 assists for 11 points. The 18-year-old blueliner measures 6-foot-4 and 215-pounds, and is from Bloomfield, Michigan.
Andre Gasseau, F, USA
The Bruins selected forward Andre Gasseau in the seventh round (213th overall) of the 2021 NHL Entry Draft.
Gasseau is a product of the US National Team Development Program. In 2020-21, the 18-year-old appeared in 23 USHL games with the USNTDP Juniors team, recording three goals and five assists for eight points. The Los Angeles, California native also appeared in 42 games with the U.S. National U18 Team in the USDP, posting 12 goals and 15 assists for 27 points.
The 6-foot-4, 205-pound forward will play for the Fargo Force in the USHL in 2021-22. Gasseau will play with Boston College beginning in the 2022-23 season.
Ty Gallagher, D, USA
The Bruins selected forward Ty Gallagher in the seventh round (217th overall) of the 2021 NHL Entry Draft.
Gallagher is a product of the US National Team Development Program. In 2020-21, the 18-year-old appeared in 25 USHL games with the USNTDP Juniors team, recording five goals and seven assists for 12 points. The Clarkston, Michigan native also appeared in 48 games with the U.S. National U18 Team in the USDP, tallying 14 goals and 13 assists for 27 points.
The 6-foot, 190-pound defenseman will play for Boston University in 2021-22.
