Defenseman will miss remainder of season following surgery on torn ACL

BOSTON -Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney issued today, December 21, the following update on defenseman Jakub Zboril:
Jakub Zboril suffered a torn ACL in his right knee during the team's game at Nashville on December 2.
He underwent successful surgery, performed by Dr. Peter Asnis at Mass General Brigham, on Thursday, December 16.
Zboril is expected to miss the remainder of the 2021-22 regular season.
The 6-foot-1, 191-pound defenseman has skated in 54 career NHL games with Boston, tallying 12 assists.
