BOSTON - The Boston Bruins and the Boston Bruins Foundation announced today that they will host "Barks for Bruins" at the Boston Bruins vs. Nashville Predators game on Saturday, December 22 at 1:00 p.m. to benefit Athletes for Animals and the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals-Angell (MSPCA-Angell). MSPCA-Angell will be on hand with several dogs available for adoption by Loge 16 on the TD Garden concourse.

The 50/50 raffle will benefit MSPCA-Angell and Athletes for Animals, a nonprofit started by David and Kelly Backes which supports a variety of animal welfare initiatives and philanthropic endeavors. Athletes for Animals hats will be available for purchase at the Boston Bruins Foundation table located by Loge 4 on the concourse. In addition, the Bruins Foundation will be raffling and auctioning off Bruins dog bowls and dog toys autographed by select Bruins players at the Bruins Foundation table.

Fans attending Saturday afternoon's game can bid to win a meet and greet with David Backes following the game as well as a game-used signed stick. Fans can enter the silent auction at the Bruins Foundation table. Please note fans must physically be at the game in order to bid and win.
