Boston, MA - The Bruins and Red Sox are in action simultaneously for the first time in 2013 tonight and NESN will be broadcasting both games.
The Bruins will be aired on NESNplus when the Black & Gold take on the New Jersey Devils at the TD Garden. Pregame coverage will begin at 6:30 p.m. with Bruins Face-Off LIVE.

DEADLINE DAY TRANSACTIONS: Boston Bruins General Manager Peter Chiarelli announced April 3, that the team had acquired defenseman Wade Redden from the St. Louis Blues in exchange for a conditional seventh round draft pick in 2014. The pick becomes a sixth round pick in 2014 if Redden plays in one or more games during the 2013 Stanley Cup Playoffs. The Bruins also acquired forward Rob Flick from the Chicago Blackhawks in exchange for forward Max Sauve.
JAGR’S DEBUT IN BOSTON: Jaromir Jagr is expected to make his Bruins debut tonight and will be wearing # 68 for the Black & Gold. The 6’3’’, 240-pound forward has skated in 1,380 NHL games (37th NHL all-time), notching 679 goals (10th NHL all-time) and 1,000 assists (12th NHL all-time). Jagr’s 1,679 points rank eighth on the NHL’s all-time list and has been named the Art Ross Trophy winner on five occasions. The 41-year-old winger is a two-time Stanley Cup Champion (Pittsburgh, 1991, 1992) and set an NHL record earning 15-straight 70+ point seasons from 1992-2008. Jagr has never had a sub-50 point campaign.
BRUINS VS DEVILS LIFETIME: The Bruins and Devils will meet for the 139th time tonight with the B’s holding a 72-37-19-10 record with a 468-377 scoring advantage in those games. Boston is 39-18-8-6 in 71 games at home against New Jersey with a 261-210 scoring edge. The Bruins have won their last five games versus the Devils, including a 2-1 shootout win in Boston on January 29 in the first game of this season’s series. The Black & Gold are 9-1-0 in their last 10 games against the Devils, with their last loss coming in a 3-2 decision on April 10, 2011.
STREAKING: Bruins forward Nathan Horton comes into tonight’s game riding a four-game point streak registering four goals and one assist during that span. Milan Lucic also comes into tonight’s tilt riding a point streak of his own having notched four assists in his last three games.
145 AND COUNTING: The Bruins have sold out 145 consecutive regular season and playoff games at TD Garden following Tuesday’s game. Their last non-sellout was on Dec. 2, 2009 when they hosted the Tampa Bay Lightning and drew 16,553.
DEVILS NOTEBOOK: The Devils acquired Steve Sullivan from the Phoenix Coyotes in exchange for a seventh-round draft pick in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft… Ilya Kovalchuk was placed on the IR on March 24, and is projected to miss two to four weeks…Devils defenseman Anton Volchenkov is currently two assists shy of his 100th NHL point… Martin Brodeur picked up his 100th win in Newark, NJ on February 9th and has now played in 1,210 NHL games (most by an NHL goaltender all-time)… Patrik Elias leads the Devils in points (30) and asissts (20) and is tied for first in goals (10). Elias also holds the highest plus/minus rating at +8.
