Bruins Assign Joe Morrow to Providence

BOSTON, MA – Boston Bruins General Manager Peter Chiarelli announced today, Sunday, October 26, that the club has assigned defensemen Joe Morrow to Providence (American Hockey League).


Morrow has skated in five games with the Providence Bruins this season with one goal and one assist. Last year, Morrow skated in 56 games with Providence and scored six goals and notched 23 assist for a total of 29 points. He also skated in 12 playoff games with Providence accruing four goals and seven assists.

The 6’1, 206 lb. native of Edmonton, AB was drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the first round (23rd overall) of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.
