Bruins Announce Schedule for Eastern Conference Finals

BOSTON, MA – The Boston Bruins announced their game, practice and media availability schedule for the 2011 Stanley Cup Playoff Eastern Conference Finals series against the Tampa Bay Lightning.  


Games 1 and 2 of the B’s/Lightning series will be played in Boston at the TD Garden on Saturday, May 14 at 8:00 p.m. ET and on Tuesday, May 17 at 8:00 p.m. ET. The Lightning will then host the Bruins for Games 3 and 4 on Thursday, May 19 at 8:00 p.m. ET and Saturday, May 21 at 1:30 p.m. ET at the St. Pete Times Forum. If necessary, Game 5 is set for Monday, May 23 at 8:00 p.m. ET in Boston, while Game 6 will be back in Tampa Bay on Wednesday, May 25 at 8:00 p.m. ET, and Game 7 will be played in Boston on Friday, May 27 at 8:00 p.m. ET.

The Bruins have just released a limited number of tickets for home games 1, 2 and 3. It should also be noted that a limited number of tickets will likely be released from various NHL and team holds between now and game time.

Tickets are available for purchase at the TD Garden Box Office, on www.bostonbruins.com and via phone by calling Ticketmaster at 800.745.3000.

The purchase price for single game tickets for a Boston Bruins playoff game at the TD Garden in a given round of the playoffs that is NOT played because the round has been concluded will be refunded in full, including any associated fees.  Any refunds will be issued to the same method of payment as the original purchase.  

Purchases made through TicketMaster via Internet or by phone of any such ticket will be refunded within two business days of the end of the playoff round.   

Purchases at the TD Garden Box Office or a Ticketmaster outlet for unplayed games must be returned in person at point of purchase for refund, which will be given via the same method of payment.

Tickets purchased for a given round of the playoffs are not usable for subsequent rounds or any other game, and do not guarantee access to tickets for subsequent rounds or any other game.

Television broadcast information is posted below. All playoff games can be heard on the Bruins flagship radio station, 98.5 FM The Sports Hub.

Please be aware that Bruins regular season credentials and the credentials issued for prior rounds this postseason WILL NOT be valid for Bruins home games during the series with the Lightning.  Members of the media must submit requests on a game-by-game basis.  Please send an email to MediaIntern@bostonbruins.com by the respective deadline that contains the information in the CREDENTIALING section below.

Due to limited hotel room availability in Tampa, here will not be a media hotel.

Members of the media who are approved for home playoff credentials can pick them up at the Bruins Media Will Call table from 9:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. and from 2:15 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. ET on GAMEDAYS.  The Bruins Media Will Call table is located at the Back Security Entrance on the East Side of the TD Garden.

PHOTOGRAPHER POSITIONS (HOME GAMES):

The Bruins will have a total of 28 still photographer positions at the TD Garden for the playoffs.  These positions will be assigned by the Bruins during a photographers meeting which will be held 90 minutes prior to all home games.  The photographers meeting will take place in the Zamboni entrance (level 3), and will be led by a member of the Bruins communications staff.

MEDIA HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS:

Due to limited hotel room availability in Tampa, there will not be a media hotel.
