Boston Bruins General Manager Peter Chiarelli announced today the following promotions: Scott Fitzgerald to Assistant Director of Amateur Scouting, Ryan Nadeau to Director of Hockey Administration and Scout, Keith Robinson to Equipment Manager, Jeremy Rogalski to Video Analyst and Eric Tosi to Assistant Director of Media Relations. Chiarelli also announced the hiring of Jim “Beets” Johnson as Assistant Equipment Manager.Fitzgerald
is in his fifth season in the Bruins organization, having served the last four seasons as a Scout, focusing primarily on amateur prospects at regional colleges, high schools and the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. As the Assistant Director of Amateur Scouting, he will now be based out of Boston and scout amateur prospects throughout North America and Europe who are eligible for the annual NHL Entry Draft.Johnson
joins the Bruins after working nine seasons in the same capacity with the New York Rangers. Prior to joining the Rangers, he had a two year stint as Head Equipment Manager for the Idaho Steelheads of the West Coast Hockey League. The Minnesota native played four years of college hockey at St. Scholastica College in Duluth, MN and later served for one season as an assistant coach of that team.Nadeau
is in his eighth season with the Bruins organization, his fifth in the team’s hockey operations department. He served the last four seasons as the Manager of Hockey Administration, having previously worked in the club’s Media Relations Department. A graduate of the University of Massachusetts - Amherst, Nadeau is now the Director of Hockey Administration and will also scout college prospects in the Eastern United States and Canada.Robinson
is entering his 23rd season with the Bruins. He began his tenure with the team in 1988-89 as a locker room assistant for five seasons before spending the next 17 seasons as an assistant equipment manager for the club. A native of Tewksbury, MA he graduated from Tewksbury High School in 1987.Rogalski
is in his second season with the Bruins, having served as the Assistant to Hockey Administration during the 2009-10 season. Rogalski graduated from Bates College with a degree in Economics and previously held internships with the New England Patriots in their Marketing and Football Operations Departments. The West Springfield, MA native takes over the video duties from former Video Coach Brant Berglund, who recently was named Product Specialist - Hockey for XOS Digital in Billerica, MA.Tosi
is in his fourth season with the Bruins, having joined the team in September, 2007 as the club’s Manager of Media Relations. A 2003 graduate of the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA, Tosi was hired by the Bruins after working two-plus years in the Communications Department of Red Bull New York and one season in the Media/Public Relations Department of the New York Jets.
