BOSTON, MA - The Boston Bruins announced today that they have entered in to a partnership with UPPAbaby, a Hingham, Massachusetts- based juvenile gear company. Founded by husband and wife team Bob and Lauren Monahan, UPPAbaby focuses on creating high-quality, functional, and stylish baby products that fit the needs of today's busy parents. This partnership is the first joint venture for UPPAbaby with a professional sports team.

Elements of the partnership include a consumer based activation, joint community relations outreach with the Bruins Foundation and UPPA Gives Back, and an UPPAbaby dasher board, visible to fans at all home games as well as on local and national television broadcasts.
"Being avid hockey fans and players ourselves we have always been passionate about the Boston Bruins," said Bob Monahan, UPPAbaby founder. "The Bruins organization impacts the greater Boston area, both on the ice and through community outreach programs. It is something that we are excited to be a part of."
UPPAbaby is headquartered in Massachusetts, with distribution worldwide. The company prides itself on making an impact at the local and global level by creating innovative juvenile products, providing top level service and dedication to philanthropic initiatives.
"Giving back is extremely important to everyone at UPPAbaby," said Lauren Monahan, UPPAbaby founder. "This partnership gives us an opportunity to expand the reach of our UPPA Gives Back charitable program and directly impact families in need within the Greater Boston area alongside our favorite home team."
"The Boston Bruins are very proud to partner with UPPAbaby on their first partnership in professional sports," said Bruins Chief Revenue Officer Glen Thornborough. "In addition to the incredible business success of UPPAbaby, the partnership is a perfect match for the Bruins as both companies share a commitment to supporting local and national charitable causes. We look forward to making a difference together."
