Roster Update _ Media Wall

BOSTON -Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney announced today, April 8, that the team has added forward Taylor Hall to the active roster, placed forward Nick Foligno and defenseman Derek Forborton long-term injured reserve, and assigned forward Oskar Steen to Providence.

Hall, 31, has appeared in 58 games with Boston this season, recording 16 goals and 20 assists for 36 points. The 6-foot-1, 210-pound forward has appeared in 819 career NHL games with Boston, Buffalo, Arizona, New Jersey and Edmonton, totaling 264 goals and 429 assists for 693 points. The Calgary, Alberta native was originally selected by Edmonton (first overall) of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.
Foligno, 35, has appeared in 60 games with Boston this season, posting 10 goals and 16 assists for 26 points. The 6-foot, 210-pound forward has appeared in 1,081 career NHL games with Boston, Toronto, Columbus and Ottawa, totaling 215 goals and 310 assists for 525 points. The Buffalo, New York native was originally selected by Ottawa in the first round (28th overall) of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.
Forbort, 31, has appeared in 54 games with Boston this season, posting five goals and seven assists for 12 points. The 6-foot-4, 208-pound defenseman has appeared in 461 career NHL games with Boston, Winnipeg, Calgary and Los Angeles, totaling 17 goals and 74 assists for 91 points. The Duluth, Minnesota native was originally selected by Los Angeles in the first round (15th overall) of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.
Steen, 25, has skated in two games with Boston this season, tallying his first goal of the year in the team's 4-3 shootout win at St. Louis on April 2. He has skated in 63 games with Providence this season, recording 14 goals and 17 assists for 31 points. The 5-foot-9, 199-pound forward has appeared in 195 career AHL games with Providence, totaling 41 goals and 59 assists for 100 points. The Karlstad, Sweden native was originally selected by Boston in the sixth round (165th overall) of the 2016 NHL Entry Draft.
