by Staff Writer / Boston Bruins
Boston, MA - Boston Bruins General Manager Peter Chiarelli announced today that forward Brandon Bochenski will join the Providence Bruins for a two-game conditioning stint.

On Wednesday, October 24, Bochenski and the Providence Bruins will play the Hartford Wolf Pack in Hartford at 7:00 p.m. ET.  His second game with Providence will take place on Saturday, October 27 in Lowell against the Devils.  Bochenski is expected to rejoin the Boston club following the two games.

Bochenski appeared in a career high 41 games in the NHL last season, splitting time between Chicago and Boston.  Acquired by the Bruins on February 3, 2007 in exchange for Kris Versteeg and a conditional draft pick, Bochenski tallied 11 goals and 11 assists in 31 games for Boston.

He has not seen any ice time this season to date.

The Bruins (5-3-0) return to the TD Banknorth Garden on Thursday, October 25 for a 7:00 p.m. ET tilt with the Chicago Blackhawks.  The game will be televised live on NESN and broadcast live on WBZ 1030 AM.
