Autodesk makes software for people who make things and in an effort to inspire and create the next generation of designers and innovators, the new free curriculum will be available to New England-based Kindergarten through 8th grade teachers. The engaging Common Core-aligned lesson plans help cultivate the students' creativity by casting students as designers for projects ranging from rethinking the fan experience to customizing hockey equipment.

Autodesk will also host two participating classrooms for a workshop at the Autodesk Boston BUILD (Building, Innovation, Learning and Design) Space. This year, $2,000,000 (retail value) worth of equipment will be dispersed throughout the community through this program.

For a registration fee of $100, participants will receive a full set of CCM hockey equipment to keep valued at $500 retail, which includes skates, a professional fitting, and four weeks of on-ice instruction led by certified coaches and NHL Alumni.
