Look for more information on the PJ drive in an official announcement next week. The details of Wideman’s visit on Monday can be found below.

WHITFIELD UP: The Bruins recalled centerman Trent Whitfield from Providence on Friday. Whitfield skated in seven games for Boston earlier this season and has played in 26 games for Providence with 9-11=20 totals.

The Bruins upcoming contests on their three-game road trip to California are the last games they will play outside of the Eastern Time Zone this regular season.

Blake Wheeler, after Thursday’s loss to Chicago…
“We have to… quit treating this like it’s a privilege and a right of ours to come and play in front of 18,000 people every night. And start playing like it’s the most important thing to us. For whatever reason, I think we lost sight of that night in and night out.”
