Boston Bruins to host Team Sendoff; Announce Schedule of Events for Stanley Cup Final

BOSTON, MA – The Boston Bruins announced today, June 10, the TD Garden Team Sendoff, game schedule, broadcast information and credentialing details for the 2013 Stanley Cup Final against the Chicago Blackhawks, which can be found below. The Bruins are the fourth seed in the East while the Blackhawks hold the first seed in the West, meaning Chicago will have home ice advantage throughout the series.


Games 1 and 2 of the Bruins/Blackhawks series will be played in Chicago at the United Center on Wednesday, June 12 at 8:00 p.m. ET and on Saturday, June 15 at 8:00 p.m. ET.  The Bruins will then host the Blackhawks for Games 3 and 4 on Monday, June 17 at 8:00 p.m. ET and Wednesday, June 19 at 8:00 p.m. ET at TD Garden in Boston.  If necessary, Game 5 is set for Saturday, June 22 at 8:00 p.m. ET in Chicago, while Game 6 will be back in Boston on Monday, June 24 at 8:00 p.m. ET, and Game 7 will be played in Chicago on Wednesday, June 26 at 8:00 p.m. ET.

TD Garden Team Sendoff: On Tuesday, June 11, Bruins fans are invited show their support for the Eastern Conference Champion Boston Bruins as they depart the TD Garden for Games 1 and 2 of the Stanley Cup Final in Chicago.

Due to the forecast of inclement weather, the sendoff will take place inside TD Garden at the level 2 turnstiles area.  As a result, only the first 1,000 fans to arrive will be admitted.  Fans can enter at the East Premium Entrance beginning at 10:30 a.m. ET. This event is free and open to the public. Player and Coach availability will take place during the sendoff outside the West End Room on level 2 of the TD Garden. Media planning to attend team sendoff should contact Erika Wentzell at ewentzell@bostobruins.com
