Boston Bruins Sign Forward Noel Acciari to an Entry-Level Contract

Boston, MA - Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney announced today, June 8, that the club has signed forward Noel Acciari to an entry-level contract.

Acciari skated in 41 games this year for the 2015 NCAA National Champion Providence College Friars, where he registered 15 goals (led the team) and 17 assists (fourth on the team) for 32 points (tied for second on the team), which were all career-highs.  

The 23-year-old forward earned several accolades helping the Friars to their first ever national championship, including NCAA East Regional Most Outstanding Player, Hockey East Defensive Player of the Year and Hockey East Player of the Week (1/26). Acciari was also named to the NCAA All-East Regional Team as well as the Catamount Cup Player of the Game (12/28).

The 5'11, 205-pound native of Johnston, RI skated for three seasons with Providence College from 2012-2015, where he appeared in 113 collegiate contests, amassing 32-33=65 totals.
