BOSTON, MA - Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney announced today, November 12, that the club has signed forwards Jake DeBrusk and Zach Senyshyn and defenseman Jeremy Lauzon to entry-level contracts. Sweeney will hold a brief media availability session to discuss the transactions in the Boston Bruins Communications Workroom on the press level (ninth floor) of TD Garden on Thursday, November 12 at approximately 6:45 pm.

DeBrusk, 19, has skated in 14 games for the Swift Current Broncos (Western Hockey League) this season, registering six goals and 14 assists for 20 points. His six goals and 20 points are second on the Broncos while his 14 assists are tied for first.
In 2014-15, DeBrusk led the Broncos in goal scoring (42) and points (81), while ranking tied for second in assists with 39. In total, the forward has appeared in 158 games at the WHL level with Swift Current (2013 - 2015), racking up 63-77=140 totals.
The 6’0’’, 183-pound native of Edmonton, AB was drafted by Boston in the first round (14th overall) of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.
Senyshyn, 18, has appeared in 18 games thus far this campaign for the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds (Ontario Hockey League), notching 10 goals (leads the team) and four assists for 14 points (second on the team).
Last season with the Greyhounds, Senyshyn potted 26 goals which was good for fifth on the team. The forward is in his third season with Sault Ste. Marie and has appeared in 88 contests (2013-15), tallying 37-24=61 totals. Prior to his time with the Greyhounds, Senyshyn played with the Smiths Falls Bears (Central Canada Hockey League) during the 2013-14 campaign, where he skated in 57 games, scoring 22 goals (second on the team) and 10 assists for 32 points.
Senyshyn checks in at 6’1’’, 192-pounds and hails from Ottawa, Ontario. Boston drafted the winger in the first round (15th overall) of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.
Lauzon, 18, has played in 18 games for the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies (Quebec Major Junior Hockey League) this season, scoring three goals and posting 22 assists (tied for first on the team) for 25 points (fourth on the team) with a plus-17 rating (tied for fourth on the team). Lauzon’s 24 points and 21 assists lead all Husky blueliners while his plus-17 rating is tied for sixth overall in the QMJHL. Lauzon has surpassed his career high assist total (22) in 18 games after accruing 21 helpers in 60 games last season for the Huskies.
The blueliner is in his third season with Rouyn-Noranda and has appeared 133 games, tallying 23-54=77 totals at the QMJHL level.
The 6’1’’, 204-pound native of Val D’or, QC was drafted by Boston in the second round (52nd overall) of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.
