BOSTON, MA –
Boston Bruins General Manager Peter Chiarelli announced today that the club has returned forward Max Sauve
to his junior club, Val d’Or Foreurs of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL).
Sauve has played in three of the Bruins’ four preseason games this year and has recorded a team-high three points on one goal and two assists. His +2 plus/minus rating places him in a tie for the preseason team lead with Blake Wheeler.
The 19-year-old Sauve was selected by Boston in the second round (47th overall) of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.
After this transaction, the Bruins now have 40 players remaining in their main training camp.
