For 118 years, runners have gathered to make the 26.2 mile trek from Hopkinton into Boston and cross the finish line of the world's oldest annual marathon.
This past Monday, April 21, the legendary Boston Marathon had nearly 40,000 official entrants making the journey.
Included in that group were more than 30 runners from all across the country and within the Bruins organization making up the Boston Bruins Foundation Marathon Team.
As of Tuesday morning, the team had raised a staggering $160,000, far surpassing the team's previous record.
Congratulations to all of the runners, on completing the Marathon, and helping raise funds for the Foundation!
