Boston Bruins Announce Roster Moves

BOSTON, MA – Boston Bruins General Manager Peter Chiarelli announced today that forward Mikko Lehtonen, defenseman Jonathan Sigalet and center Vladimir Sobotka have been released from Bruins training camp.    Sigalet and Sobotka have been assigned to the Providence Bruins (AHL), while Lehtonen will return to Espoo of the Finnish Elite League. 

Following these roster moves, the Bruins have 31 players remaining in camp.

The Bruins are in action today in preseason tilt against the Montreal Canadiens in Halifax, Nova Scotia at 3:00 p.m. ET.

Fans are encouraged to check the Boston Bruins Media and Fan Information Line at 617-624-1910 for the latest updates to the Bruins Training Camp schedule.  The Media and Fan Information Line will be updated by 5:00 PM for the following day.

The Bruins next home game will come on Sunday, September 30, when they wrap up their preseason action by hosting the New York Islanders at the TD Banknorth Garden at 4:00 p.m. ET.
