BOSTON -The Bruins announced today, March 30, the recipients of the 2022-23 season awards.

Charlie Coylehas been named the recipient of the Eddie Shore Award, given to the player who shows exceptional hustle and determination, chosen by the "Gallery Gods". Linus Ullmark has been named the winner of the Elizabeth Dufresne Trophy, awarded to the player exemplifying outstanding performance on home ice as determined by the Boston Chapter of the Professional Hockey Writers Association. Patrice Bergeronhas been selected for the John P. Bucyk Award for providing exceptional off-ice charitable contributions, chosen by John Bucyk. David Pastrnak (First Star), Linus Ullmark(Second Star) and Brad Marchand(Third Star) were named the Bruins Three Stars, as selected by 98.5 The Sports Hub, for being top performers at home games over the course of a season.
Eddie Shore Award:
Bruins forward Charlie Coyle has been selected by the "Gallery Gods" as the 2022-23 Eddie Shore Award winner for demonstrating exceptional hustle and determination throughout the season. The 6-foot-3, 223-pound forward, has appeared in 74 games with the Bruins this season, totaling 13 goals and 28 assists for 41 points with a plus-27 rating. The Weymouth, Massachusetts native leads all Bruins forwards and ranks sixth among NHL forwards with 2:32 shorthanded time on ice per game for a Bruins penalty kill unit that leads the NHL with a 86.2 percent success rate.
Elizabeth Dufresne Trophy:
Linus Ullmark has been selected as the Elizabeth Dufresne Trophy recipient for the 2022-23 season due to his outstanding performance on home ice this season. While at TD Garden, Ullmark has amassed a 20-2-1 record with a 1.67 goals against average and .942 save percentage. The 6-foot-5, 212-pound Lugnvik, Sweden native ranks first in the NHL in wins, goals against average and save percentage on home ice this season.
John P. Bucyk Award:
Patrice Bergeron will receive the John P. Bucyk Award for his contributions in and around the Boston Community this season. Bergeron has been involved in several community events including hospital visits, meet and greets, and more. This is the third time Bergeron has received the John P. Bucyk Award (2007, 2020).
This season, Patrice has shown his leadership both on and off the ice for the Bruins. He has once again continued his charity work through his organization, "Patrice's Pal's" which brings patients from local hospitals and other children's organizations to TD Garden to experience a Bruins home game, where these deserving children are able to feel the excitement of a professional hockey game as VIP guests.
Bergeron has also taken part in several community events over the past year, including the annual Holiday Toy Shopping and Delivery and Halloween costume visit to Mass General Hospital. He once again hosted the Pucks & Paddles event that raises funds to benefit Special Olympics Massachusetts and the Boston Bruins Foundation. The event has raised almost $300,000 dollars since 2018.
The award is named after Bruins legend John P. Bucyk, who has just finished his 66th season with the organization.

Bruins First Star David Pastrnak has appeared in 37 home games at TD Garden this season, tallying a team-high 26 goals and 22 assists for 48 points. Pastrnak was named one of the Bruins' Three Stars in 14 of his 35 home games.
Bruins Second Star Linus Ullmark has compiled a 20-2-1 record with a 1.67 goals against average and .942 save percentage in 24 home starts at TD Garden this season. Ullmark was named one of the Bruins' Three Stars in 15 of his 24 home games this season, including a team-high six First-Star performances.
Bruins Third Star Brad Marchand has skated in 32 home games at TD Garden this year, tallying nine goals and a team-high 24 assists for 33 points. Marchand was named one of the Bruins' Three Stars in nine of his 30 home appearances.
