BOSTON - Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney announced today, July 13, that the team has acquired forward Pavel Zacha from the New Jersey Devils in exchange for forward Erik Haula.

Zacha, 25, tallied 15 goals and 21 assists for 36 points in 70 games for New Jersey in 2021-22. The 6-foot-3, 210-pound forward has appeared in 386 career NHL games - all with New Jersey - totaling 69 goals and 110 assists for 179 points. The Brno, Czech Republic native was originally selected by New Jersey in the first round (6th overall) of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.
Haula, 31, recorded 18 goals and 26 assists for 44 points in 78 games for Boston in 2021-22. The 5-foot-11, 191-pound forward has appeared in 534 career NHL games with Minnesota, Vegas, Carolina, Florida, Nashville and Boston, totaling 112 goals and 128 assists for 240 points and a plus-42 rating. The Pori, Finland native was originally selected in the seventh round (181st overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
