Bergeron, Fernandez to Attend Bruins Development Camp

Boston, MA - Bruins General Manager Peter Chiarelli announced today that Bruins center Patrice Bergeron and goaltender Manny Fernandez will attend the Bruins Development Camp, which will be held Tuesday, July 8 through Saturday, July 12 at Ristuccia Arena in Wilmington, MA.  Bergeron and Fernandez will skate on Tuesday, July 8 from 10:00 a.m. ET - 11:00 a.m. ET.

This session will be open to the public and open to media. 

Please note that Bergeron and Fernandez will be the only players skating on Tuesday, as the rest of the Development Camp attendees will be undergoing medical and fitness testing.  Bergeron and Fernandez are scheduled to skate with the Development Camp attendees the rest of the week.

Both Bergeron and Fernandez are coming off seasons where they missed significant time due to injury, as Bergeron missed 72 regular season games and the entire postseason with a concussion while Fernandez missed 71 regular season games and the entire postseason with a left knee injury.
