BostonBruins.com- Playing in the 2,000th regular season game in their history, the Providence Bruins received, perhaps, one of the most dazzling overtime goals in the history of the franchise. Kenny Agostino scooped the puck behind his own net just a few seconds into extra time and proceeded to skate it the length of the ice, evading defenders before ending the game with an audacious between-the-legs finish to give the P-Bruins a 4-3 win over Utica on Sunday for their seventh consecutive victory.

With 15 points (6-9-15) in just 17 games, his 0.88 points per game ranks third on the team behind only Austin Czarnik (1.17) and Jordan Szwarz (1.17). Agostino now has points in three straight games and in six of his previous eight contests.
Agostino also assisted on Szwarz's overtime tally in a 3-2 victory over Utica on Saturday night. Providence started off a perfect 3-0 weekend on Friday with a 4-3 shootout win against Hartford, during which Jakob Forsbacka Karlsson and Colby Cave each notched a goal and an assist.
The scorching Providence Bruins have raced into first place in the Atlantic Division, and their .708 win percentage is the third highest in the American Hockey League.
