BOSTON, MA – The Boston Bruins announced today, Monday, November 24, that the 2015 Pucks & Pups calendar presented by The Black Dog featuring Bruins players photographed with their pets or with adoptable dogs from the MSPCA-Angell will go on sale Friday, November 28. Due to the generosity of our presenting sponsor The Black Dog, all proceeds from the calendar will benefit the Boston Bruins Foundation and donations will be made to the MSPCA and NEADS.
Players featured in the calendar includeMatt Bartkowski, Patrice Bergeron, Gregory Campbell, Zdeno Chara, Loui Eriksson, Simon Gagne, Dougie Hamilton, Chris Kelly, Torey Krug, Milan Lucic, Brad Marchand, Adam McQuaid, Kevan Miller,Daniel Paille, Tuukka Rask, Dennis Seidenberg, and Reilly Smith. Bruins Principal Charlie Jacobs also participated in this project. The calendar features the B’s with their family pets or new friends waiting for homes at the MSPCA. The photos were taken at the TD Garden as well as outside in some of Boston’s landmark neighborhoods.
The Pucks & Pups calendar will go on sale beginning Friday, November 28 at the ProShop powered by Reebok, the official team store of the Boston Bruins and Boston Celtics, all retail locations within TD Garden, and the Bruins Foundation table on the arena concourse during Bruins home games, and online at www.bostonbruins.com/pucksandpups.
The retail price of the calendar is $20. Additional shipping and handling charges will apply to online orders.
The Black Dog is also offering limited edition Boston Bruins Dog collars and leashes, all proceeds will benefit the Boston Bruins Foundation. The collars and leashes can be purchased for a $30 donation at the Boston Bruins ProShop, all retail locations within TD Garden, the Boston Bruins Foundation table and online through the Boston Bruins Foundation Website.
All proceeds from the 2015 Pucks & Pups calendar, collars and leashes will benefit the Boston Bruins Foundation and donations will be made to the MSPCA and NEADS. This is the second year of the Pucks & Pups calendar, last year the calendar raised over $120,000 with a portion donated directly to the MSPCA’s adoption services program to care for homeless animals awaiting adoption.
