ST. LOUIS - Defenseman Jake Walman has agreed to a two-year contract extension with the St. Louis Blues.
Walman, a restricted free agent, has accepted a two-way deal in the first year and a one-way deal in the second year.

The 24-year-old defenseman was drafted by the Blues in the third round (No. 82 overall) in the 2014 NHL Draft. He made his NHL debut on Jan. 4, 2020, recording a plus-1 rating in 11 minutes, 4 seconds of ice time against the Vegas Golden Knights.
Walman has spent the majority of the last two seasons with the San Antonio Rampage of the American Hockey League. In 123 regular-season games with San Antonio, he posted 11 goals and 29 assists (40 points).
Prior to joining the Rampage, Walman also dressed for the AHL's Chicago Wolves and Binghamton Devils.
Before turning pro, Walman played three seasons with Providence College.
