In celebration of Brett Hull's induction into the Hockey Hall of Fame in November, the Blues invited Hull and some of his former teammates to Scottrade Center for a pregame ceremony on Dec. 15. Here is the transcript of Hull's speech from the night.

"Can you imagine someone being as lucky as me, who has gotten a chance to play with these guys?

"I got my start with the great Calgary Flames organization, and I'd be remisced if I didn't acknowledge how great an organization they have been throughout the years, as Al MacInnis will attest to.

"The St. Louis Blues will be indelibly stamped on my heart until the day they bury me in the ground. You have a world class organization led by world class people, and they are going to lead you to where you all want to be, and where we all wanted to be.

"Mike Shanahan bought this team in 1991, and he brought forth this beautiful facility for us and the St. Louis Blues fans. You should all give yourselves a pat on the back for the support you have given this great organization.

"As I said earlier, I have been lucky to play with a lot of Hall of Fame players, but in my mind, you fans will always be my No. 1 Hall of Fame team, and I thank you for that."
