ST. LOUIS – The St. Louis Blues announced today they will host their 2016-17 Training Camp Open Practice Event on Saturday, Sept. 24 at Scottrade Center.
Doors will open at 9:30 a.m. and practice sessions will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Saturday's practice will give fans their first look at their 2016-17 St. Louis Blues as players return to the Scottrade Center ice tossing T-shirts into the crowd. Throughout practice, the Blues will have a fan recruitment display setup outside Section 103, giving fans a chance to enter to win a complimentary suite to one of the Blues’ three home preseason games. Inside the bowl, pairs of tickets to preseason games and other great Blues items will be up for grabs as Open Practice emcee Chris Kerber mingles with the crowd.
The True Blues Authentic Team Store will be open and offering exciting new designs for the 2016-17 season, while fans will be able to enjoy great food and beverage options at various concession stands around the concourse.
The box office will also be open from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., offering single-game tickets for the 2016-17 regular season, while the fan recruitment display at Section 103 will give fans a chance to learn more information about one of the Blues’ many fan-friendly ticket packages.
All current ticket package holders will receive access to an exclusive hospitality area, including complimentary dry snacks, in the Blue Note Lounge.
The Training Camp weekend festivities will also include the Blue Note Cup Kick-Off Tournament, featuring eight local PeeWee hockey teams, as well as Youth Hockey Day on Sunday, Sept. 25, when the Blues host the Columbus Blue Jackets in their first 2016 preseason game.
A total of 63 players will participate in this year’s camp, including the Blues representing their countries at the 2016 World Cup of Hockey.
