ST. LOUIS - St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today that prospects Alexei Toropchenko and Nikita Alexandrov have been assigned to the Kontinental Hockey League and Liiga, respectively.

Toropchenko, 21, has been loaned to Kunlun Red Star in the KHL. He has played in 25 games this season for Kunlun and recorded eight points (six goals, two assists). He was originally drafted by the Blues in the fourth round (No. 113 overall) in the 2017 NHL Draft.
Alexandrov, 20, has been loaned to KooKoo in the Liiga League in Finland. He was originally drafted by the Blues in the second round (No. 62 overall) in the 2019 NHL Draft.
These moves have no impact on the Blues' rights to the players or the term of their contracts and they can be recalled after their European seasons end. The leagues to which they have been loaned are the highest leagues in their respective countries.
