Tkachuk, Jackman to Coach Police, Firemen

by Staff Writer / St. Louis Blues
The St. Louis Bandits will be playing at Scottrade on January 4th to support the Backstoppers program in the St. Louis area.

The afternoon will kick off with a Guns'N Hoses game at 1:30 p.m. The game will feature local area police and firefighters and Blues Alumni. Current Blues players Keith Tkachuk and Barret Jackman will also be at the event coaching the police and firemen during the game.

Following the Guns'N Hoses game, the St. Louis Bandits, partially owned by former Blues forward Kelly Chase, will hit the ice to take on the Wichita Falls Wildcats at 3:30 p.m.

Funds raised from the event will support the St. Louis BackStoppers, a 2,000+ member organization which assists the families of Police Officers or Firefighters who perish in the line of duty. The event will be a day of exciting hockey action and will include a silent auction that will have signed Blues jerseys and much more.

For tickets or suite packages for the event, contact Ticketmaster or the Bandits office at (636) 536-4882.
