ST. LOUIS - Blues prospect Robert Thomas has been named the OHL Player of the Week.
Thomas, who was selected by Blues in the first round (No. 20 overall) of the 2017 NHL Draft, recorded seven assists in three games for the OHL's Hamilton Bulldogs in the week ending March 4. He also recorded a plus/minus rating of plus-2.
Thomas' efforts helped the Bulldogs to their sixth straight win and their first division title since 1976.
Through 45 games this season with the London Knights and the Bulldogs, Thomas has recorded 22 goals and 46 assists (68 points).
The OHL Player of the Week honor has been awarded to Blues prospects in two straight weeks. Last week, Jordan Kyrou of the Sarnia Sting captured the award for the third time this season after becoming the first OHL player to reach 100 points.
