Steen Injured Saturday vs. Columbus

by Chris Pinkert / St. Louis Blues

ST. LOUIS - Alexander Steen has been labeled "day-to-day" with a lower-body injury sustained in Saturday's 4-2 loss to Columbus.

Steen played just over three minutes on Saturday before the injury occurred. He left in the first period and did not return.

On Sunday, Steen was back at Scottrade Center but did not skate with the club.

"We'll see tomorrow, see if [Steen's] ready to go tomorrow," Blues Head Coach Ken Hitchcock said. "He'll be questionable to go for tomorrow, day-to-day. Better today, we'll see how he is tomorrow."

Hitchcock said even if Steen isn't ready for Monday's contest against the Canucks, he should be ready for Thursday's game against the Flames

Through 73 games this season, Steen has 24 goals and 38 assists (62 points).
