by Staff Writer / St. Louis Blues
FOX Sports Midwest will host the second annual St. Louis Classic at Steinberg Skating Rink in Forest Park on Saturday, Dec. 17. The St. Louis Classic is a giant outdoor viewing party for a St. Louis Blues road game.

Hockey fans will watch the Blues game at Nashville on a 35-foot screen, while ice skating with Forest Park as the backdrop. FOX Sports Midwest will broadcast its pregame, postgame and intermission shows live from the rink, with Hall of Famer Bernie Federko, former Blue Tony Twist, Pat Parris and Jim Hayes as hosts.

“Last year, thousands came out in cold weather to create an incredible atmosphere,” said FOX
Sports Midwest General Manager and Senior Vice President Jack Donovan. “We expect
another memorable event this year as we celebrate hockey in St. Louis.”

Admission to skate is $6 per person, and skate rental is available for $4. If fans are not skating, admission to the event is free. Concessions will also be available for sale through Steinberg rink.

The St. Louis Classic starts at 5 p.m. From 5 to 6:30 p.m. classic Blues moments will be shown on the outdoor 35-foot screen. At 6:30 p.m., the live TV broadcast of the Blues Live pregame show begins from the rink.

The Blues game at Nashville starts at 7 p.m.
