Coming off of a two-goal game against the Arizona Coyotes, Pavel Buchnevich will center a line with newcomers Jakub Vrana and Kasperi Kapanen Thursday night against the San Jose Sharks (7 p.m., BSMW, 101 ESPN). Buchnevich has been on a hot streak recently-- reaching 20 goals in his last game, marking his third consecutive season in doing so.
"A guy [Buchnevich] with his brains and his play-making ability, seeing the ice," Blues Head Coach Craig Berube said recently. "There's good potential there down the middle of the ice."

Forward Alexey Toropchenko will slide up to the first line to join Robert Thomas and Jordan Kyrou.
"Torpo's worked extremely hard," Berube said. "He's done a real good job of improving this year. It's deserving for me. But on the other side, he can help that line."
Additional line shuffling is expected to include Brayden Schenn centering Brandon Saad and Sammy Blais.
"It's a pretty heavy line," Berube said. "It's an identity line and I hope it works out."
Here are the projected lines based on Thursday's morning skate at Enterprise Center:
