St. Louis Blues 2010-11 single game tickets are set to go on sale Saturday, August 21 from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. exclusively at the Scottrade Center Box Office. With each single game purchase at the Box Office, fans will receive four tickets per purchaser to a preseason game of their choice (minimum of a four ticket purchase required). In addition, fans will have the chance to meet Head Coach Davis Payne from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. The True Blues Authentic Team Store will also offer a 10% discount off select merchandise to all fans in attendance. Following the two-hour window, tickets will go on sale at stlouisblues.com, ticketmaster.com and all Ticketmaster outlets. The Scottrade Center Box Office will remain open until 2 p.m.
For fans interested in purchasing season tickets or looking to upgrade, the Blues will host an open house on Saturday from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Fans can check out the view from the seats and speak to account representatives that will be on hand to answer questions. Plus, for those that purchase a full or half season ticket plan that day, there are great incentives including autographed merchandise and gift cards to the True Blues Authentic Team Store.
“With 20 of our 41 games on Friday, Saturday or Sunday dates, we have once again filled our home schedule to include plenty of weekend games,” said CEO of St. Louis Blues Enterprises, Peter McLoughlin. “With so many exciting opponents coming in, from the Blackhawks to the Penguins and Capitals, we want to encourage fans to buy tickets to these games as soon as possible, before they sell out. The Blues will open the regular season on Saturday, October 9 against the defending Eastern Conference Champion Philadelphia Flyers. Fans will not want to miss that evening’s pre-game celebrations, including the unveiling of Brett Hull’s statue in front of Scottrade Center. Other schedule highlights include six games (three home and three away) against each of the Blues’ Central Division rivals: Chicago Blackhawks, Columbus Blue Jackets, Detroit Red Wings, and Nashville Predators. St. Louis will play four games (two home and two away) against each of its remaining Western Conference opponents.
The Eastern Conference will send six of its eight 2009-10 playoff teams to Scottrade Center this season. Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins travel to St. Louis on Saturday, October 23 while 2008 and 2009 MVP Alex Ovechkin and the Washington Capitals come to town on Wednesday, December 1. In addition, the Blues will host the Carolina Hurricanes, Montreal Canadiens, New Jersey Devils and Ottawa Senators, and play a home-and-home set against include the Atlanta Thrashers, New York Rangers and Washington.
