Schwartz, 19, picked up the goal on the power-play 19:24 into the first period, with assists going to Chris Stewart
and Carlo Colaiacovo
. It came on Schwartz's first shot of the game.
"It was pretty special," Schwartz told reporters after the game. "It's something you dream about. I was happy I could come in and help get the win. Getting (my) first goal was exciting."
Schwartz became just the 13th player in Blues history to score in his debut. Lars Eller was the last player to do it in 2009, while Doug Palazzari is the only Blues player to score twice in his debut.Click here
