Schwartz comments on returning to lineup

ST. LOUIS - Jaden Schwartz will return to the lineup Tuesday after missing 11 games with an upper-body injury.
Schwartz was hurt in the Blues' 4-1 win against the Vegas Golden Knights on Nov. 16 after being hit with a shot by Vladimir Tarasenko.

"It hit me in an unlucky spot. Not much you can do," Schwartz said of the injury. "…It's feeling better. This last week I feel like I've made strides."
Without Schwartz, the Blues went 3-7-1.
"He drives our engine here, that's for sure," Blues Head Coach Craig Berube said of Schwartz. "(He's) a very good player, a 200-foot player. Obviously a hard-working guy."
Schwartz, who has two goals and seven assists in 15 games this season, skated on a line with Brayden Schenn and David Perron in Monday's practice and will likely join them for Tuesday's game.
"We've showed signs of great play," Schwartz said of the team while he was out. "We've beaten some great teams and then just the consistency and the confidence is something we need back."
