ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the club has activated forward Jaden Schwartz from injured reserve.
In addition, the club assigned forward Colin Fraser to their American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Chicago Wolves.
Schwartz, 22, has appeared in 31 games for the Blues this season, ranking third on the club with 27 points and second with 11 goals. The 5-foot-10, 190-pound forward has missed the past seven games due to a right-foot injury.
The Wilcox, Saskatchewan, native was originally drafted by the Blues in the first round, 14th overall, of the 2010 NHL Draft.
