"Road to the NHL Winter Classic," a five-part docuseries featuring exclusive behind-the-scenes access to the St. Louis Blues and Minnesota Wild as they prepare for the 2022 NHL Winter Classic at Target Field, will premiere on Wednesday night on TNT.
Fans can tune in for the first episode following the completion of Wednesday's game between the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Edmonton Oilers on Wednesday night.

Episode 1 focuses on Blues captain Ryan O'Reilly, who previously played in the NHL Winter Classic with the Buffalo Sabres in 2018. O'Reilly allowed NHL Studios cameras into his home as he prepared to face the Columbus Blue Jackets last Saturday at Enterprise Center.
New episodes of "Road to the NHL Winter Classic" will air each week during the NHL's postgame coverage on TNT.
The series originally debuted as "24/7: Road to the NHL Winter Classic" in 2010 on HBO.
"We've been doing the show for a very long time, and the show has moved around a bit," NHL Chief Content Officer Steve Mayer told NHL.com. Mayer also serves as an executive producer for the show. "Creatively, it's changed a bit. We're so excited that Turner is all-in on the promotion of our biggest regular-season event. You've got two really compelling teams this year in St. Louis and Minnesota, which welcome these types of shows, so they've opened up. What we're hoping to do is give fans and potential viewers of the game a taste of the teams and who they are and the players."
