GLENDALE, AZ - It's been a whirlwind week for Mitch Reinke.
Last week, Reinke was a student-athlete at Michigan Tech who had just finished up his sophomore season with the Huskies. On Sunday, he agreed to a two-year entry level deal with the Blues.
On Saturday, Reinke will make his NHL debut when the Blues meet the Arizona Coyotes.

"Watching him in practice, we're pleased with what we see, from his footwork to the way that he moves the puck," Blues Head Coach Mike Yeo. "The things we've heard (from his coaches) are very, very postive in terms of what he can bring with us. This seems like it could be a good fit for this game."
"Just a lot of excitement," Reinke said before the game. "This is what you dream about your whole life. I'm just excited and looking to make the most of my opportunity."

The 5-foot-11 defenseman played 35 games with the Huskies this season, posting three goals and 21 assists (24 points) to go along with a plus-8 rating.
A WCHA Third Team All-Star, Reinke has helped the Huskies capture the WCHA Championship in back-to-back seasons (2016-17, 2017-18).
Reinke posted 44 points (nine goals, 35 assists) and a plus-14 rating in 76 career collegiate games.
