NEW YORK – The National Hockey League Department of Player Safety announced today that Blues forward Ryan Reaves has been suspended for three games.
"We respect the decision of the NHL on this matter," said Armstrong. "Ryan is an important member of our team and we look forward to getting him back in the lineup."
Reaves, 29, has dressed in 49 games for the Blues this season, posting two goals and 40 penalty minutes. The 6-foot-1, 224-pound native of Winnipeg, Manitoba, has appeared in 324 career regular season games with the Blues, accumulating 36 points (19 goals, 17 assists) and 563 penalty minutes.
