Projected Lineup: Oct. 7 vs. Dallas

by Chris Pinkert / St. Louis Blues

ST. LOUIS - On the night the Pittsburgh Penguins raised their Stanley Cup championship banner, the St. Louis Blues spoiled the party with a dramatic 5-4 overtime victory.

As a result, Blues Head Coach Mike Yeo isn't expected to make any changes to his lineup for tonight's home opener at Scottrade Center. Everything was the same in Saturday's pregame skate.

"It's a group that really cares and sometimes that puts a little bit more pressure in certain situations," Yeo said of his lineup after Wednesday's season-opening win. "They respond and they found a way (to win). It was a big win to start the season."

The Blues look to open the season with two straight victories when the puck drops tonight at 7 p.m. against former coach Ken Hitchcock and the Dallas Stars. Live coverage is available on FOX Sports Midwest, FOX Sports GO, KMOX 1120 AM or the NHL app.
