Hutton looks to keep his strong road play going against the Canes

by Chris Pinkert / St. Louis Blues

RALEIGH - Carter Hutton will start in goal tonight when the Blues meet the Carolina Hurricanes at PNC Arena (6:30 p.m., FSMW, FSGO, KMOX).

Hutton has been lights out on the road, going 10-2-0 with a 1.44 goals-against average, a .952 save-percentage and four shutouts over his last 12 starts on the road.

"I just compete. I'm like a broken record," Hutton said Friday. "Whenever I get a chance to play, I compete. I try to work hard in practice so when I do play, I'm ready for it. The way things have gone, all my starts have been on the road. I've played a lot of games in my career on the road, so I'm used to it."

Carl Gunnarsson will return to the lineup tonight after missing Wednesday's game for the birth of his daughter. Gunnarsson will be paired with Colton Parayko.
